Climate Strategy

At Intact Insurance, we believe in being a force of good in the communities we serve. By teaming up with The Hare's Corner, we're supporting an initiative that promotes climate resilience, biodiversity, and wellbeing through simple, practical actions. The Hare's Corner is all about empowering people to take small but meaningful steps to support nature. From planting native trees and digging ponds to creating pollinator patches, the initiative provides practical support to schools, landowners and communities.

We’re working with Sanctuary Runners, an incredible organisation that uses walking, jogging and running to promote solidarity, friendship, and respect for asylum seekers, migrants and refugees. At Intact Insurance and 123.ie, we believe in making a positive change to the communities we serve. By teaming up with Sanctuary Runners, we’re supporting an initiative that fosters inclusion, positivity, and the power of sport to unite people. 
 

Intact Insurance have supported, and continue to support, our charity partner Barnardos across several initiatives including Give as You earn employee contributions, volunteering, and fundraising projects. Barnardos work with over 26,000 children a year in Ireland, to help the most vulnerable children in society achieve their full potential - regardless of their family circumstances, their gender, race or disability.

Intact Insurance Ireland are supporting a four-year research programme delivered by UL’s Centre for Emerging Risk Studies (CERS). The project examines how Ireland can better anticipate and respond to climate-driven flood risk, drawing on new approaches to risk modelling, public–private risk-sharing, and data-informed policy development.
